Why dolphins
At Sataya Reef, a resident pod of wild spinner dolphins visits the same shallow lagoon every day; not trained, but by choice. We make ourselves available. The rest isn’t up to us.
Not entertainment
We’re guests in their home, not customers of an attraction.
Strict guidelines
No touching, no chasing, small groups, always a briefing beforehand.
We honor their rhythm
Sometimes close, sometimes at a distance; that’s the agreement. Then we breathe and swim a little extra.
Protection built in
Part of the fee goes to reef protection and the National Park.
Many participants describe meeting the dolphins as a turning point.

Who’s holding this space
I’m Anne de Boer: breathwork teacher, IAKP certified Kambo practitioner and retreat facilitator from Amsterdam. In November 2023 I led the Goddesses & Dolphins women’s retreat right here at Sataya Reef.
Now for men and women. I hold the breath and the container; experienced guides handle the reef.

We go once we reach 10 confirmed bookings. The earlier you apply, the better the odds your preferred week goes ahead.
A €500 deposit secures your place; the balance is due 90 days before departure, and payment plans are available. Coming with a friend? You both get €150 off.
Not a strong swimmer? Snorkelling works for every level, with guides. Coming alone? You share a cabin with someone of the same gender; most call it a highlight.
Looking for resort luxury or dolphins to ‘fix’ you? Then this isn’t your week.

Paying and cancelling
Balance
The balance is due 90 days before departure.
Payment plans available.
Cancelling
90 days or more before departure: you get back everything you paid, except the deposit.
Within 90 days of departure: no refund. You can transfer your spot to someone else, or, in consultation, move it to a later dolphin retreat if there’s space.
What if the retreat doesn’t go ahead?
If there are too few bookings or in case of force majeure, you get back everything you paid me.
So please book your flight only once I confirm the retreat.
I strongly recommend cancellation insurance.
