The invitation
Step into the heart of Peru, where the wisdom of bees, ancient Andean traditions, and the
breathtaking power of nature come together to guide you back to your truest self.
Over 10 to 14 days, Breathe into Beeing invites you to reconnect with the rhythms of
the earth, awaken your inner strength, and experience profound healing through sacred ceremonies,
breathwork, and transformative practices. This is the call to remember, reclaim, and truly
bee.
Like bees, we must find beauty in every flower and turn life’s nectar into gold.
The three pillars
Sacred bees and their wisdom
Bees are far more than honey-makers; they’re nature’s tiny philosophers, architects,
and alchemists, buzzing with wisdom that can transform how we live, heal, and connect. They are
the ultimate mindfulness gurus, reminding us to bee fully present, grounded, and
purposeful in every moment. Their teachings are woven into this retreat — community and
collaboration, the art of being, grounding in nature.
Andean cosmovision and sacred sites
Peru is bursting with life and sacred energy. We meditate under the stars at Ausangate, soak in
hot springs after ceremony, walk among living Polylepis forests. Despacho ceremonies, water
blessings, fire rituals — all guided by local elders and the rhythm of the land.
Transformative practices for mind and body
Daily breathwork, journaling, liberating dance, laughing yoga, embodiment practices — tools
to take home, not just experiences for the trip.

You don’t need to be a beekeeper — or even know the difference between a waggle
dance and a wiggle — to join. This retreat is for those feeling called to reconnect with
themselves, nature, and ancient wisdom.
But this isn’t for everyone.Breathe into Beeing is a sacred
pilgrimage that will challenge you physically, emotionally, and spiritually. If you’re
ready to step out of your comfort zone and embrace this transformative journey, we’d love
to guide you.
To make sure it’s the right fit, we schedule an introduction call to connect, answer your
questions, and align on intentions (no bee quizzes, we promise).

go, the bees find me. They’ve become my greatest teachers, guiding me to slow down, listen,

Andes of Peru, where I fell in love with the land, its people, and the bees that transformed my
life.”

the retreat. Through her business Anaqmisk’i Miel, she teaches the wisdom of bees

Practical questions
How fit do I need to be?+
Reasonably fit — we walk distances at altitude, including a day hike to 3,500–4,300m. Not athletic, but comfortable on your feet for several hours. If you have lung or cardiac concerns, talk to your doctor before applying.
What about altitude sickness?+
We acclimatize gradually — first days at 2,800m, then up. Coca tea, hydration, and gentle pace built in. About 1 in 10 participants get mild headaches in the first 48h; severe altitude sickness is rare with our pacing.
Is the apitherapy mandatory?+
No. It’s a separate optional session you opt into during the retreat. Bee venom is a real substance with real effects — there are contraindications (allergy, certain conditions). We screen everyone individually.
I’ve never done breathwork. Can I come?+
Yes — but with the understanding that we’ll be doing daily practice and some intense sessions. You don’t need experience; you do need willingness.
I have a kambo / breathwork practice already. Will it be deep enough?+
Yes. The altitude alone takes the work to a different layer. Add the cosmovision, the despacho ceremonies, the bees, and the time scale — this is not an introductory container.
What does the price include?+
Shared accommodation, all transport on the ground in Peru, all meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner), all teachings and ceremonies, and the apitherapy session for those who choose it.
Not included: flights to/from Peru, travel insurance, pre/post-retreat hotel nights, tips for local team. Single-room upgrade available at +€450.
How does the deposit work?+
After your application is accepted, a €600 deposit secures your place. Balance due 60 days before departure. Payment plans on request — please ask, no shame.
What if I need to cancel?+
Up to 90 days before: full refund minus €100 admin fee. 60–90 days: 50% refund. Inside 60 days: non-refundable, but transferable to another participant. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
